There are 56 ethnic groups in China and 26 in Yunnan alone. One of the most special is the Wa people who live in the jungle. With primitive lifestyles, they are known as the “childhood of human beings”, still observing traditions of the ancient world.
The Wa people like to dance. They dance all the time. To explore the relationship between the Wa people and their dance, I traveled 3,216 kilometers all the way from my home in Beijing to their tribe in Yunnan, at the border of China.
