Matsu is a strategic location with a prolonged military history. Wrestling teams offer combat skill training to younger generations. It’s also a sport that connected four towns across five islands (Nangan, Beigan, Dongju, Xiju, and Dongyin). While resources are limited, they take advantage of chilly and rugged landscapes for training. With their dedication, coaches and athletes from Matsu have elevated their competitive performances in the sport.
