Wen, a young screenwriter, is currently working on a script called Sun Wukong. When Wen takes his recently created script to Beijing to participate in venture capital, Wen finds that his life trajectory is inevitably entangled with the fate of the “Sun Wukong” in the script. On the one hand, Wen’s new script was not well received by the producers. On the other hand, Wen’s fiancee hopes that Wen could return to his hometown to get married and live a stable life. Wen does not know whether to create for the sake of life or to live for the sake of art. His life falls into a dilemma of both artistic creation and real life.
