An experimental short film using a technique I call scrubbing, whereby the video is played through a recorder – such as OBS – while being “scrubbed” on an NLE timeline, in this instance Davinci Resolve at 4k, with ideally lots of GPU power eg in my case an Nvidia RTX 3060ti.
The things filmed and scrubbed include sticky subject matter like honey, snails, frogs chocolate nutty balls and *dab just to name a few. Freestyle shoots with not much planning just some shots I took and a few I found online then all given the organic scrubbing treatment while recording live and then meticulously (and tediously) edited. This took more time than i’d planned because each sequence had to be scrubbed by hand live doing multiple takes and recorded each time as separate clips.
