A college student returns from a life changing semester to be unsatisfied with her mundane life back home. Just as she is about to unpack her belongings and film equipment, a diary appears – marking the shift to Bummerland – with her childhood bedroom now becoming an isolationist’s dream. Over the course of ten days, the main character’s mental health deteriorates to where a manifestation of good will is sent by the universe as the final resort. Her film career and friendships are projected onto the wall and her heart as cliché as it sounds; in response to good memories, the lights flicker to warmer tones representative of energy and thrill. The film ends with the main character content within herself and unpacks – effectively merging her two lives into one.
