My name is Arden Pala and I am the son of an immigrant family, so my inspiration for this documentary came from my curiosity to find out more about California and some of the immigration debates and policies that shaped our State and our Country. Even though immigration has a long history in the US, it still brings about many conflicts in our social and political settings.
