INK

INK is a documentary about recorded history as permanent art. The first human beings left imprints of their hands on caves, representing a desire of marking our existence, as proof that we were once present on planet earth. This need for immortalizing memories and recording history is a constant drive for human beings. Tattoo’s mimic this desire to transcend, by permanently marking our bodies with tattoos we are immortalizing the memories, stories and people that we cherish the most. INK the story of a Lawyer who’s passion resides in body art. We are following Zain, a part time lawyer who decides that art is his true passion, we explore his mentality and artistic process through his his pursuit of what he calls a “home run”, which is a Tatto that is technically perfect, significant for the client and generates an emotional attachment in Zain.
