After two years of medical treatment and a year in recovery, Eric, now 30-years-old, is finally deemed healthy. To many people he’s a survivor and a hero, but yet, he feels more hopeless than ever. Still coping with the mental side effects of chemo and cancer itself, Eric struggles to achieve the life of normality he once imagined. It’s not until a close friend discloses how he’s dealing with his own hardships, that Eric has a breakthrough.
‘In Between’ focuses on a neglected phase of cancer; life after it’s gone. On the surface, this movie explores themes of mortality, but underneath we aim to explore something far more abstruse, the fallacy of ‘normal’.
