Intrinsic Perceptions focuses on the lives of three women in the city of LA, going about their daily lives, isolated yet in search for connection within themselves and within their community. They each embark on a hike at the Culver Stairs at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook in LA which is a metaphor for the journey that each of them must climb in their own lives to find inner satisfaction and peace amidst the loneliness and pressure for perfection which has overwhelmed them in urban city life. The overlook serves as a place that brings all three of them together to take in the horizon while appreciating the moment as they see their lives from afar while finding peace within.
