Ernest Williams, a drama teacher at a local high school gains more than just a teaching career when two of his students, who are siblings, become homless after 6 months of attending church with him on the weekends. After doing eveything he can to get rid of them so that they would not cramp his single lifestyle, he has no successess in placing them. Suddenly, he finds himself rasing these two young men but the neighborhood thugs and drug dealers are not happy. Neither is his supervisor where he works. He becomes and Instant Dad. It takes him on the ride of his life.
