

American Clueless examines a few–but perhaps salient–features of our current American culture: the pervasive occurrences of Magical Thinking, the nature of perception as examined through passages from Phenomenology of Perception by Maurice Merleau-Ponty, a bebop version of 19th century American popular music, the name “Lincoln” repeated as if it was an exorcism tool. In addition, 114 people from my neighborhood reading the lines of poems.
