American Clueless examines a few–but perhaps salient–features of our current American culture: the pervasive occurrences of Magical Thinking, the nature of perception as examined through passages from Phenomenology of Perception by Maurice Merleau-Ponty, a bebop version of 19th century American popular music, the name “Lincoln” repeated as if it was an exorcism tool.
