Some say it’s a dog-eat-dog world. But what happens when a failed stand-up comedian, Dwiyos by name, at the end of his rope – almost literally – meets a canine friend? Can worlds shift with an alchemical encounter? “Checking Out” is a short film of approximately fourteen minutes, and offers a different perspective on the value of a “heart-to-heart.”
