This hilarious one-man show is funny because it’s true (well, the political history part, at least). One dark and stormy night, in the ominous towers of DNC headquarters, a Democrat manager tasked with selecting the 2020 presidential ticket must explain to his boss why he and his team chose a white, elderly male with dementia, an embarrassing history of plagiarism and a “rapey” way with women to represent their Party. Featuring rare news footage from the 80’s, Mitchell’s conversation with himself blends the real and the surreal, a combination that pairs nicely with our current year.
