She Really Hurt My Feelings in Yoga Class

Posted by

When gorgeous yogi Rachel steps on Maggie’s yoga mat, Maggie is triggered and spirals into a grand fantasy world where she must work through trauma in order to rejoin class. Swimming from the depths of her imagination, Maggie uses her new-found confidence to confront Rachel. But, in doing so, she ruins class for everyone else. She didn’t mean to! This film is about the weird, internal world we spiral into when we feel slighted and insecure. The villains or victims we create. It’s about those everyday social interactions we take so personally; that often stay with us for days, weeks, or years. It is also an allegory about intersectionalism and how vital it is for our community to thrive.

Directed by Bette Bentley (USA)
