“Agape” is about Adam Daniels, a loving father struggling with the guilt of the past; offering a person to an unorthodox group for the health of his own child. Not taking the consequences seriously, he begins to see an entity next to his son wherever he goes. Not able to bear seeing the entity, he confronts the group by going to their temple; he realizes he knew the consequences all along. As he knows his son will be in good health now, he decides to inflict self-harm to his eyes so he cannot see the entity, thus relinquishing his guilt… so he thinks. Sacrificing his own eyes for his own sanity. Agape, love of supreme greatness; it’s a parental, mature, sacrificial kind of love.
