It’s Been So Long

After eight years in prison, Curtis comes back home to live with his father, Joe, who is a police officer. Though he has no choice but to live at home, tensions are high between father and son because Joe is the very cop who arrested Curtis eight years earlier. As much as Joe would like to patch things up, Curtis is still angry and treats him coldly. And Curtis has other things on his mind—such as reaching out to his old girlfriend, who is now raising their young daughter in the home of another man. The inevitable confrontation between Curtis and his ex’s new husband doesn’t end well, but it opens the door for a reconciliation with Joe.
