Not a Creature was Stirring

Trying to make it to her mother’s house by Christmas morning, a single mom, her young son, and her overly-testosteroned boyfriend drive through the desert late at night. Soon after, karma catches up to the boyfriend when he forces the boy to sleep alone in his own room.
