Six months have passed since big game hunter Jack Peterson went boar hunting on a remote Louisiana island and barely escaped with his life. Struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, he’s haunted by memories of a shape-shifting creature known as Spikes, who tried to kill him and paranormal investigator Penelope Whistlestoff. Just as Jack thinks he’s losing his sanity, Spikes appears and unravels dark secrets about a nearby chemical company blamed for poisoning the island’s inhabitants. With mysterious deaths reported on the news and friends suddenly disappearing, Jack and Penelope have no choice but to return to the island and expose the chemical company for their monstrous actions.
