Mia(7) suffers from traumatic mutism, a condition in which kids who have experienced trauma suddenly stop talking in all situations. Mia’s condition makes her an easy target for bullying in school. As a consequence, she decides to skip school and wander about. That is when she accidentally becomes the only witness of a murder. Now, she has to confront her worst fears and find her own voice in order to deliver justice.
