This year, 140 outstanding projects have been selected from a pool of 3,993 monthly finalists in competition between September 2024 and December 2025, representing 75 countries. These films showcase the strongest work across all genres featured by Indie Short Fest: narrative, documentary, animation, experimental, music projects, and more.
2025-2026 Annual Awards: Finalists (Long List)
This long list will now be narrowed down to the Annual Nominees — typically 70 to 80 films — who will be screened during the 2025–2026 Annual Awards showcase at Regal Cinemas LA Live in late March or April 2026.
